Ramsey, Peachtree City, formerly of Stockbridge, died March 31, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ramsey. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of North Henry Baptist Church in Stockbridge. He was a member of the Tyrone Masonic Lodge #644, F&AM, where he was a past chaplain and a Masonic Home Ambassador, and a member of the Scottish Rite and the Yaarab Temple. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Hamberger Labin. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Local 22 Steam Fitters Union. Services were at the Carl J. Survivors include children, William Labin, Baltimore, Carol and Nelson Bingel, and Linda and Rick Vanderbush, all of Senoia, and Robert Labin, Dexter, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Memorial services were at Harps Crossing Baptist Church. Survivors include sons Bobby Eugene Cash and Robbie Dwayne Cash, both of Griffin. Joan Presley BrownJoan Presley Brown, 63, Jonesboro, died March 23, 2009. She was born Feb. 21, 1946 to the late William Oliver and Lillie Lankford Presley, in Putnam County. She was graduated from Jonesboro Senior High School in 1964. In 2005 she was retired with 31 years of public service to the Clayton County Finance Department, and was the past president of TOPS chapter, Fayetteville. She enjoyed collecting Fenton glass and was a charter member of the Georgia Glass Hoppers. Vanita Dolores Martin ArnoldVanita Dolores "Dee" Martin Arnold, 76, Macon, died March 24, 2009. She was born in Athens, the daughter of the late Jack and Mary Ann Hardy Martin. Bonita IvyBonita "Bonnie" Ivy, Fayetteville, died March 24, 2009. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. W. Irvin Pearre officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Drury Nathan Dyer SrDrury Nathan Dyer Sr., 87 , Peachtree City, died March 29, 2009. He was a native of Atlanta, and was graduated from Boys High school in 1939. He joined the United States Army Air Corps Flight School in 1943 and after graduating served in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He attained the rank of Lt. Colonel, and was retired from the United States Air Force and Lanier Worldwide. Graveside services were at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Lee Ayers officiating. Watson Gallagher, 59, Tyrone, died March 18, 2009, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was graduated from Meridian High School and Meridian Junior College. She was with Eastern Air Lines in-flight for 18 years and was manager of Coca-Cola Guest Services for 17 years. She was a member of Peachtree City United Methodist Church. She loved gardening, her family and friends, and her dogs. Memorial services were at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, with chaplain Tom Sloan officiating. Barbara H. HammockBarbara H.
