Mavis Peacock, 74, Peachtree City, died March 15, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian David "JD" Peacock. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Peachtree City. Services were at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Steve Bingham officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include daughters, Julie M. Dostal, Wendi L. Baxley, and T. LeAndra Denney; grandchildren, Allyson B. Wilson, Kasey-lynn Wilson, Alyssa L. Denney, Julian Gregory Denney, and Sarah m. Denney; and a brother, Jack Morris. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
