Mary Elizabeth Huffman, 85, Senoia, died April 18 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Huffman Sr., her parents, Charles L. and Mary L. Crawford Hicks Sr., and a brother, Charles Hicks Jr. Services were at the Carl J, Mowell chapel with the Rev. Roy Roberson officiating. Interment was at the Brooks Memorial Cemetery, Brooks.

Survivors include a son, William C. and Vickie Huffman Jr., Lawrenceville; a daughter, Linda A. and Jerry Powers, Senoia; grandchildren, Bryon and Dawn Powers, Brooks, Keith Powers, and Catherine and Robert Waczkowski, all of Senoia, Stephanie and Michael Linkous, Port Deposit, Md., and Carter Huffman, Lawrenceville; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Brooks, Lithia springs, and special persons, Charles and Nancy Orrick, Griffin. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
