Drury Nathan Dyer Sr., 87 , Peachtree City, died March 29, 2009. He was a native of Atlanta, and was graduated from Boys High school in 1939. He joined the United States Army Air Corps Flight School in 1943 and after graduating served in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He attained the rank of Lt. Colonel, and was retired from the United States Air Force and Lanier Worldwide. Graveside services were at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Lee Ayers officiating.

Survivors include his wife of 67 year, Katherine Hayes Dyer, Peachtree City; sons, Drury Nathan Dyer Jr., Peachtree City, and William Randal Dyer, Cumming; a daughter-in-law, Leslie Anderson Dyer, Peachtree City; a grandson, Derek Nathan Dyer, Peachtree City; and a granddaughter, Lauren Dru Dyer, Peachtree City. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
