Krista Michele Battalio, Peachtree City, died March 14, 2009 after a battle with inflammatory breast cancer. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Chris Patton officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include her husband, Michael Battalio, Peachtree City; a son, Cooper Battalio, Peachtree City; parents, Richard and Cheri Koscevic, Wellsburg, W. Va.; a brother, Karey and Heather Koscevic, Peachtree City; a grandfather, Charles Schwertfeger, Bethany, W. Va.; nephews; Connor and Carson Koscevic, Peachtree City; and aunt and uncle, Toots and Frank Yano, Wellsburg, W. Va. Memorial donations may be given to the Susan G. Komen Cure for Breast Cancer. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
