Harold N Brooks Sr., Sharpsburg; died March 26, 2009. He was a member of Peachtree City First Baptist Church. Services were at the Peachtree City First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Steve Bingham and the Rev. Kenneth Brown officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Brooks, Sharpsburg; children, Jerri and Phil Collins, Norman and Zel Brooks Jr., and Jane and Bill Covington; grandchildren, Jason, Josh and Jonathan Collins, Matt and Chris Covington, Norm, Harrison and Agata Brooks; six great-grandchildren, sisters, Jean and Earl Smith, and Edna Nelson; and two sisters-in-law. Memorial contributions may be made to the Peachtree City First Baptist Church Building Fund. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
