Sandra Phillips, 73, Peachtree City, died March 24, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Donald Phillips Sr. She was a member of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Memorial services were at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Westmoreland officiating. Survivors include a son, Joseph Donald Phillips Jr., Prospect, Ky.; a daughter, Jill Phillips, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Christopher Sellers, Laura Sellers, Matthew Phillips, and Madeline Phillips; and a sister, Amanda Smart. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
