I was looking at todays headlines and realized that the change that was promised has arrived and is still flowing like the honey buckets of southeast Asia.

FORTY YEARS AGO EDWARD KENNEDY GOT AWAY WITH MURDER. WITH A NAME LIKE KENNEDY ANYONE COULD DO ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING EVEN MURDER AND GET AWAY WITH IT.

I read an article a couple of months back that Best Buys was reducing the numbers of sales staff and would also be cutting the pay of their employees. The results have got to be hitting their bottom line. And I'm not so sure it is in a positive manner.

This went around on e-mail a year or so ago. Still interesting and entertaining.

Exactly 40 years ago Senator Kennedy was guilty of murder in the death of Mary Jo Kopechne 28, but because of his money and political ties, he got away with it.

Handyman repair tax= 10% of bill; $2 fee eachtime garbage is collected; tax on water running off your property---oh, it has been done; tax on air breathed according to how many and age of occupants; fee to allow one to occupy city space with vehicles= boats, trailers, cars, trucks, motorcycles, golf carts==oh another one we have, sorry; and anything else with wheels or devices that make them go.
