Pretty Bad When Home Depot Has Better Service Than Best BuysI read an article a couple of months back that Best Buys was reducing the numbers of sales staff and would also be cutting the pay of their employees. The results have got to be hitting their bottom line. And I'm not so sure it is in a positive manner. Went to BB yesterday off Mt Zion in Clayton County to look at a 50" plasma. For the life of me I couldn't find anyone to help me out. Sooooooo I contributed the poor service to the fact that I was in..... Clayton County. So tonight I stop off at the Pavilion and went by HH Gregg. Had a gentleman spend about an hour with me answering questions to the best of his ability. He wasn't the most knowledgeable but was extremely helpful and we narrowed the selection down and my decision was made. Needed to do some measurements so I left with card. Then I went to Best Buys in the Pavilion. I inspected, lingered, shopped, read, played with, big screens and speaker systems for 40 minutes. Nobody came over. Nobody asked if they could help me. Nobody was even around for me to ask for service. In all that time Nobody from Best Buys ever entered the TV area. Soooooooo.... I finally got the drift... did my comparisons and exited Best Buys thinking those guys really blew it. Saturday when Arthur is back to work I will be ordering a plasma, surround sound system, and a Blue Ray from my man at HH Gregg. With piss poor customer service that I've been experiencing most everywhere I go I just have to wonder...... Does anybody really even give a rip if they have a job or not? I mean... Really!!!!!!
