TODAY I MOURN MARY JO KOPECHNE NOT EDWARD KENNEDY

FORTY YEARS AGO EDWARD KENNEDY GOT AWAY WITH MURDER. WITH A NAME LIKE KENNEDY ANYONE COULD DO ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING EVEN MURDER AND GET AWAY WITH IT. I DON'T MOURN EDWARD KENNEDY. MAY HE BURN IN HELL. I MOURN MARY JO KOPECHNE.

35,000 people die in auto accidents every year. None rot in hell.

Kopechne had no business at that drunken brawl--nor Kennedy.

He got about the same sentence as do most of the other death drivers.

The late reporting to police may have been due to his brain shookkup as he said (and drunkenness) and I doubt he was able to dive into that car twice, but he had no intention of killing her.

Maybe he slept off the drunk and the addling, I don't know, but he should have gotten 30 days at least instead of service.

Power and money attract way too many women and girls. Why? You tell me.

YOU MUST BE A KENNEDY. MARY JO KOPECHNE AND EDWARD KENNEY HAD THE RIGHT TO BE AT THE PARTY. IF THEY WERE BOTH INTOXICATED, THEN THAT WAS THEIR PROBLEM. WHAT YOU DON'T WANT TO ACCEPT IS THAT EDWARD KENNEDY KNEW THAT HE WAS IN DEEP TROUBLE ONCE MARY JO WAS TRAPPED IN HIS CAR WHICH WAS ALREADY UNDER WATER. WHAT DO YOU THINK EDWARD KENNEDY WAS DOING FOR SO MANY HOURS BEFORE HE NOTIFIED THE AUTHORITIES? SLEEPING IT OFF? HE CALLED HIS ATTORNEYS, HIS CAMPAIGN PEOPLE, AND HIS FAMILY. GET REAL!!! HE DID......BECAUSE HE WAS A KENNEDY. HE WAS A FREE MAN......BECAUSE HE WAS A KENNEDY, THEREFORE HE GOT AWAY WITH MURDER. CASE CLOSED.

As you said, summer, they were BOTH intoxicated. Kennedy did not force Mary Jo Kopechne into his car, she was an intelligent 29 year old woman who made a choice to get into a car with an extremely intoxicated married man. There is a high possiblilty that Kennedy was in a blackout and was disoriented, and yes, was most likely passed out after the accident. And most likely, even if he reported the accident immediately, she would have died. What happened that night was horrible, but not much different than many drunk driving deaths caused by non-Kennedy's and many the perpetrators have gotten off scott free. Would you crucify them the same as Kennedy? Btw, I am definitely NOT a Kennedy.
