It's all Pres. Bush's fault

Look at what Pres. Bush has done!

myword_mark: Why I will not be blogging anymore

I had the opportunity to read the citizen while on vacation.

I was disgusted at the level of personal attacks by the same two people - day in, and day out.

John M: AJC misleading about Harold Logsdon

I have to say the AJC article “Growth gets a second glance” was very misleading. The reporter, Aixa Pascual, made is sound like the mayor and council weren’t interested in annexation or development outside of Peachtree City. What about the westside annexation? What about the damage from TDK?

RuKiddin: College and the school of common sense

Just because you don't have a degree, doesn't mean you wouldn't be a good cop. As a matter of fact, sometimes, it means just the opposite. Common sense is the most valuable tool that a cop can have.

dollaradayandfound: Spazzle Dazzle

Pay close attention. Nobody of course wants soldiers what have been blowed up to want fer nuthin. Suport ur trueps.
I nevar heared of our trueps getin the run-round by klerks, case mangers, sargents, and junior oficers. Never hered, you here me?

johenry: How bad can it get in PTC and Fayette County?

More proof that we’ve got probably the worst city council in the history of Fayette County on our hands.

God forbid that we listen to those idiots (a.k.a. “voters," "homeowners" and "citizens”) about annexation. Peachtree City only sent out the citizen surveys to appease them, not to ask for direction. Councilwoman Cyndi Plunkett has turned out to be Peachtree City’s version of Marie Antoinette. We’re going to get a “proactive” annexation. Is that anything like rectal exam?

Linda Pinson: Unresponsive, with one exception.

This meeting was ostensibly to grant a variance on parcels of land surronding the water tower @ HWY 154/ I-85 interchange.

RuKiddin: Time to Man up

This is a direct response to GiveMeABreak4507. For one, everyone knows who you are. And the sole reason that your canidate might lose is because of his association to you. It is a shame that the public is speaking out and stating their opinion, and the first thing you think is that it must be one of the other canidates for Sheriff.

John Thompson: New video from Senoia

John Thompson's picture
City Administrator Richard Ferry talks about the upgrades to the city's park on Seavy Street.

RuKiddin: Who's Fault?

Its amazing to me that people will blame the police for an accident caused by a fleeing Felon. I agree it it sad that this chase ended in an accident with a death. That isn't something that any officer would ever want to happen or go through.

Git Real: Basmati

Git Real's picture

Why are you such a hateful cuss? Man you've got to be the nastiest blogger I've ever run across. I'm beginning to think you're being hateful just for the sake of being hateful.

dollaradayandfound: Care of wounded veterans

Major Walter Reed who had an MD degree at 18, but went on to college and got a second one, practiced in several hospitals before deciding he wanted a more secure job, such as the army.

bladderq: Cheney & Walter Reed

Did he seek treatment @ Walter Reed? If he'd been wounded in the Afgani attack would he have gone to Germany and then to Walter Reed? I guess you do need to be a veteran and he famously, "...had something better to do." than 'Nam.

ArmyMAJretired: Enough of the keyboard commandos, what are the troops saying?

ArmyMAJretired's picture

I haven't worn combat boots in about 10 years, some fly occasionally for the Air Force, and some well we are just not sure of, so let's hear what troops are saying about the war:

bladderq: Feb is Black History / March is....

March Maddness. It is a good segue to baseball. Lord only knows I am having football w/drawls. I don't even follow b-ball until now.

hutch866: All State Band

hutch866's picture

I'm down here in Savannah for the All state band concerts, and let me tell you these kids rock. You can say all you want about the state of the schools in Georgia but these kids are the cream of the crop, and I include the orchestra's in this too, I've never really listened to an orchestra before but I bet the pros are only marginally better then these kids, and these kids are only middle school students.

John Munford: Pitchers, catchers and the rest

John Munford's picture

Just now catching up with the Friday Braves vs. Pirates spring training coverage.

Boy oh boy Smoltzie was picking Pittsburgh apart. Several offspeed breaking balls with a ton of downward movement. The first start of the spring and he's ON!

JoAnn: Is there as reason

Is there a reason that our children have to write report's about February being Black Month, and not any other month for American Indian, Irish, etc.

tyrone neighbor...: DAS REHWALDT

We have this annoying little man in Tyrone that fashions himself as the political king maker in our town. He and his alliance of defiance have done more to harm Tyrone than anyone in its history. Over the next few days we'll be highlighting some of the wonderful things Don et al have done:

bladderq: FOX News

Anna Nicole is buried. We will now return to regular broadcasting of the war in IRAQ. OH, wait...we can't show you the caskets returning to Dover, so we will re-run footage of Anna going to the MEs, leaving the MEs and returning to the Bahamas. But we can't show you the bodies in DE.

dollaradayandfound: The Weather

I have two weather radios. I found out yesterday that you simply can't leave them on so that they will automatically warn you of disasters. They pop on every ten minutes and tell you that the tornado has left podunk and is now in Timbukto county---which is 200 miles away. They are ok for information, if you are a weather junkie and a glutton for puniashment, but local warnings are a necessity. These are weak!

savethedepartment: Just a question

Good afternoon, I am a deputy with the Fayette County Sheriff’s office. I work the morning watch and have been quietly following the talk around the Department about who from the Department is going to run for Sheriff in 2008.

dollaradayandfound: Strange Justice?

Two attractive, young, and "stylish," women robbed a bank near Atlanta, in conjunction with a male teller who was in on it.

Michael Boylan: Tryout of video

I shot a little video at last weekend's state playoff games at Fayette County and am now getting around to trying to get it on our web site.

dollaradayandfound: kidnappings, etc.

Am I not understanding something or is it pure idioticy for the police to show the face and full name of a kid or person, who was kidnapped and got away?
