Cheney & Walter Reed

Did he seek treatment @ Walter Reed? If he'd been wounded in the Afgani attack would he have gone to Germany and then to Walter Reed? I guess you do need to be a veteran and he famously, "...had something better to do." than 'Nam.
VA healthcare has been a shambles for many, many years. The last time I remember it being made any sorta priority was when Jimmy appointed Max to head the VA. The real problem is that the docs in the field are saving "too" many. If it wasn't for these advancements in MASH, we'd probably have 10,000 dead and not the 3000 we're looking at. But hey, we don't show the cofins, let's don't show the wounded or the walkin' wounded. Sweep it all under the Persian carpet.

bladder while I don't think much of Cheney, If you're going to tar him with that brush you have to tar the last democratic prez with it to, it seems a lot of our present politicians had something better to do back then, and now too for that matter.

Clinton didn't fabricate a war. I do have a bone or 2 to pick w/ him. 1. What's the problem w/ inhaling? & 2. As a proud draft resister to the other mis-guided American adventure, I say stand up and be counted. We won't even go to when he thinks sex occurs.
You are mistaken in thinking that we have a Volunteer Army...the money these kids are git'n paid makes it a home grown mercenary one.

let me make sure I understand what you're saying. our military is making too much money? when men halfway up the pay scale can still draw food stamps for their kids, you are so full of it, you're problem isn't with the war, it's with the military ain't it? Maybe you and dollar can go start your own country somewhere where being mean spirited, petty, and stupid, are worthwile attributes.

I guess you should have re-enlisted in a war zone. I think the bonus is double.

I used to give you the benefit of the doubt, but now I see what a waste of clean air your breathing is. Let's be clear, it's not draft resisting, it's draft dodging. If you took the absolute worst military person we have serving right now, you wouldn't make a pimple on their butt. You and your boy John Kerry obviously think alike and look down on the military, well, this country doesn't desrve to be saddled with waste such as you but we're sure stuck with you.

By dodging the draft, someone else had to be drafted to fill that slot. Someone who didn't run away. Someone who may have died.
