hutch866: Amphitheater

hutch866's picture

If anyone is going to the amphitheater tonight to see Herman's Hermits, think of poor old hutch and mrs. hutch out in the sun Thursday evening helping set up the multitude of chairs it takes to put on a show there, sweating gallons of water and making untold number of trips up and down the stairs to set up the chairs all because the hutchette is in the band.

bogiesbirthday: BOGIE'S ~SURPRISE~ BIRTHDAY PARTY

It's a SURPRISE party, so don't spill it.

If you know Bogie, you know you don't want to miss this party.

dollaradayandfound: What have the Clinton haters wrought?

When the republicans hired a Mr. Starr to get Bill Clinton and it actually did get into the House Of Representatives where he was indicted for lying, but cleared of an impeachable offense in the Senate, I knew then that there would be hell to pay as soon as the power shifted someday!

Christian: St. Jude had an intimate connection to Iraq

Christian's picture

With the world focused on events taking place in Iraq over the past four years, it is interesting to note that St. Jude had an intimate connection to this part of the world during his life.

dollaradayandfound: Iraq American Embassy

If it ever gets completed the new embassy in the green zone in Iraq will be the biggest, largest, baddest embassy building in the world. I understand there is three times as much underground as on top.

Jones: Our Man Dan Returns

The dregs of the city have returned. The same rabble-raiser who caused so many problems in Peachtree City is showing his teeth to Mayor Brown.

dollaradayandfound: Time to choose one to work for

A list is listed on a list below on the list listed, for you to choose the best candidate who can get the list most done next time for President:

A genie will allow you to bring back a former Atlanta Brave (in his prime) for the second half of this season. Who do you choose? Do I hear any votes for Jeff Blauser?

ishmael07: People At Bethany Church Yesterday

Does anyone know why there were a lot of people visiting Bethany Church (At the intersection of Rivers Road and Lee's La

thebeaver: Punishing the Innocent

First, we have a young man nearly beaten to death outside of Six Flags. Who do the black "leaders" target? Why Six Flags of course, even though the beating took place off of their property. Yes, let's not go after the parent who raised these miscreants, let's punish the innocent corporation that had nothing to do with the beating.

dollaradayandfound: Wonderful Copenhagen

Not the snuff, the city.
Today's comments have been groggy for me. I don't know why I just thought of Chipper's and Bobby's snuff.

zoes: Yoshi Sushi

Why do they have a bring your own booze sign in the window? Will that be remedied any time soon?

justwondering: les mis & sound

dixie-mom: Du-Roc's old building.

Does anyone have any information about the new restaurant opening in the old Du-Roc building? I have heard it is owned by Oriental's but not sure.

dollaradayandfound: Dumbing down

I am concerned that nearly everything we do or try to solve nowadays, and fail, is due to our dumbing down of our citizenry, almost deliberately.

dollaradayandfound: Plausible Deniability

Ever since Fawn Hall, Ollie North's aide, stuffed documents in her underwear to remove from the Pentagon for Ollie, I have despised it when I see young women placing themselves in precarious legal positions to try and protect those above them in the government hierarchy. Men have always done so for obvious reasons but females don't seem to know why.

Christian: Prayer to St. Jude (cousin of Our Blessed Lord)

Christian's picture

"O most holy apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, people honor and invoke you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, for I am so helpless and alone. Please help to bring me visible and speedy assistance. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly (state your request) and that I may praise God with you always."

Cyclist: The Chinese don't mess around

Cyclist's picture

From VOA

China's drug watchdog has admitted food and drug safety supervision in the country is poor and in need of improvement. The comments came as China executed the former head of its food and drug administration for allowing unsafe drugs to enter the market in exchange for bribes.

1bighammer: School teams need your help...

I'm not sure if everyone is aware that the state and county don't give money to our school teams. With the beginning of the school year fast approaching, the shcool teaams will be in full swing soon.

justwondering: Les Mis & sound technicians

Git Real: How About It Guys.... Wanna Fly?

Git Real's picture

Actually I can see Hack beating the rest of us to the punch on this one. You gotta love this guy..... Smiling

Yo: LIGHTS IN PTC...just a silly rant

just wondering why the new developments in PTC lighting output is not being regulated... yes this is a silly inquiry, but recently the lighing around Chilis and Longhorns has gotten much brighter... plus the Avenue... it's really noticible when you look accross the street at Carabbas and the rest of that shopping center... other questionable businesses are Hartigans, Mcintosh Village and the entire Kedron Village shopping center. Has PTC let this rule go? I love the sleepy hidden feel of the local businesses... is this our future...

mapleleaf: Shingles vaccine for people on Medicare

mapleleaf's picture

People with Medicare Part D coverage (the prescription drug plan) might be interested to know that, under at least one company's Part D plan, the shingles vaccine (Zostavax) is available at some local Kroger and Rite Aid pharmacies for the co-pay price provided in their plan (generally about $50 to $60), and it will be given at the drug store without further expense. To receive it requires bringing in a doctor's prescription for it. An appointment may be needed, to make sure the vaccine (which needs to be kept refrigerated) is on hand.

Kevin Wandra: Does anybody care about the MLB All-Star Game?

Kevin Wandra's picture

When you get to that particular blog, scroll down some more and read the comments under it. If you check both links, you will be in for a surprise.
