Why do they have a bring your own booze sign in the window? Will that be remedied any time soon?

They have been BYOB for a long time. I never asked but I guess they didn't want to pay for the liquor lic. or maybe they had trouble w/ that pesky server's permit you have to get from the local PD. I know Valentino's had a problem w/ it, as do some of the event planners.

Isn't that illegal? Carrying liquor bottles around outside and in your car?
I'll tell you, I once was able to eat a meal without any alcohol!
I know, I know, it sounds strange, but it can be done.
It would be harder to eat raw fish without some kind of buzz, but I could manage it as long as I didn't have to eat the head, fins and tail and guts.
I'm working on a report that will indicate the total tonnage of alcohol that PTC consumes. It is about finished, all except what they drink out of town.

Thanks bladerq. Sounds like it isn't a temporary situation. I was hoping they just hadn't renewed on time. It would be odd to bring my own wine out to dinner, but we may try it sometime anyway. Hate to miss a good meal over something rather easily resolved!

I lived in a state (TX, hard to believe) that had dry precincts & you could "brown bag." It will save you about 50%. The 1st time I went in they told me I could go to the gas station. I just enjoyed my tea. See $, even I can do it. I do prefer sake however.
