Plausible Deniability
Ever since Fawn Hall, Ollie North's aide, stuffed documents in her underwear to remove from the Pentagon for Ollie, I have despised it when I see young women placing themselves in precarious legal positions to try and protect those above them in the government hierarchy. Men have always done so for obvious reasons but females don't seem to know why.
It is certainly not the first time, but just this week an attractive female political aide to President Bush was asked to testify to a legitimate committee of the congress. Now, although an aide to the President for political affairs, it seems that she NEVER discusses any such thing with the President, nor has she heard him discuss such things. I would have to assume then that his people discuss such things with her people, never mentioning the President!
Boy, I wonder if he knows all that is going on? (Want my answer?)
Do these women think that when they pass on what the "administration" wants to others for action (others being someone Else's people) that it is or isn't the President's wishes?
Now I'm no rocket scientist, but this is dishonesty at its worst, in my opinion.
Not one member of the Gestapo in Germany in WWII, it seems, ever got any instructions, written or verbal, from Adolph Hitler.
Sure the democrats want to hang all these people, just as the republicans wanted to hang all of Clinton's people, and Clinton, but that certainly doesn't excuse such low morals and principles.
Another: the end justifies any means!
