Amphitheater

If anyone is going to the amphitheater tonight to see Herman's Hermits, think of poor old hutch and mrs. hutch out in the sun Thursday evening helping set up the multitude of chairs it takes to put on a show there, sweating gallons of water and making untold number of trips up and down the stairs to set up the chairs all because the hutchette is in the band. The things we do for our kids.

Lil Chip and I helped set up the amphitheatre for Happy Feet a few weeks ago - I know exactly what you feel like!!! I gracefully bowed out of the break-down, but Mr. Chippie & Lil Chip did it - they were worn out taking all those chairs and tables up the hill.

None of us were availble to help Thursday night, but I think we'll be able to help with the next break-down. On the other hand, I may have something 'important' to do and will send Mr. Chippie again (it's good for him, too).

Do you or Mrs. Hutch ever work Hi-Fi Buys? We haven't yet.

It's heck being a band parent and getting 1/2 credit for your kid's account. I guess Sunday you will work to get the other half. I'll be there tonight.

Plenty of help, set up in 52 minutes, but my butt was dragging at the end.

Outstanding and in 52 minutes! Remember, it takes longer getting the chairs up the hill. Hey if you're interested, we are seeking band parent volunteers to help out during the games to move props and stands. You get in for free at the games.

Just curious Cyclist, were you at the band meeting last week?

I'm signed up to help create the props. I'll think about the rest.
