School teams need your help...

I'm not sure if everyone is aware that the state and county don't give money to our school teams. With the beginning of the school year fast approaching, the shcool teaams will be in full swing soon.

So when those teams approach you to buy an ad in their program, to buy a ticket for a raffle,t o buy a banner for their fence, or looking for a donation please give what you can...every dollar counts.

I have learned over the past month, not only do school teams need your money, but so does each grade level. I learned that one high school sophomore class needs to raise approximately $35,000.00 for a down payment on the Jr./Sr. Prom that they will be hosting. HELLO - what is wrong with this picture???

The Citizen Sports Guys are interested in advertising a "really big" venture in all of the local high schools programs this fall.

Michael,
Does this include marching band programs?

Probably not, Daniel. Athletics are still the only game in town to many, sadly.
