TYRONE. Post 2 is mostly between Eric Dial and Gordon Shenkle. Shenkle has been a definitive citizen advocate in the public forum (council meetings, newspaper) in the past on slow, controlled growth. He has clearly stated that increased sewer capacity would result in increased housing density and more traffic, etc. On the other hand, Dial is a lobbyist by trade and takes a stance on property rights akin to not wanting mandatory tree buffers and letting developers run amok in the community.

A lot of people are telling you to vote for certain people with very little justification.

As we learned with the last election, things people say can be deceiving. A lot these unknown bloggers probably have something to gain from supporting their candidate as like what happened with Mayor Logsdon and Councilman Steve Boone.

I'm sick of reading Johenry and the others who continually put COUNCILMAN Harman down. He is a councilman and he does deserve the respect of the office.

Dkinser is going to O’Toole (Post 1) and Thompson (Post 2). First of all O’Toole has lived in Peachtree City for only a year if that. What does he really know?

Before you cast your vote in tomorrow's election, you might want to read the following letter to the editor from January 2006. It paints a pretty clear picture of Mr. Al Hovey-King. In case you aren’t aware, Mr. Hovey King owns property at Pye Lake and is a major reason why the events of this letter took place. Do we really want to have that kind of political figure as a city councilman? I don’t, and I hope the voters of Fayetteville really understand who they are voting for before they go to the polls tomorrow. He’s obviously in it for himself and not the city of Fayetteville.

I wonder how long it will take Al "Tawana Brawley" Sharpton and Jesse "Hymietown" Jackson to come out of the woodwork in defense of these thugs that beat an innocent white man and put him in a hospital. At least one of them has been charged with attempted murder, so the race warlords should be out in full tilt crying "racism!!!!".
