THANK YOU PEACHTREE CITY

Mike King's picture

To all who voted yesterday I extend my gratitude for your involvement in the election process.
My congratulations are extended to Don Haddix who accepted the result with both humility and decorum. To Dar Thompson and Mark Hollums, my gratitude is given for the professionalism and open manner in which they conducted their campaigns-both are honorable men.
The choice now is between Doug Sturbaum and myself for the Council Seat and the decision rests with the voters of our great city. Both Doug and I have agreed that there will be no personal attacks toward one another and that each of us will speak to our positions on the issues facing our city.
The issues facing Peachtree City remain-TDK, Big Boxes, the police station, and golf cart path security and we as citizens must stay focused toward their resolution.
Again, thank you for your support as I will continue to ask for you vote in early December.

I voted for Boone because I mistakenly thought he would bring Mormon values to the city council. Obviously, I didn't do my homework. I'm kind of ashamed I voted for someone who frequents acohol establishment because I thought Morons didn't drink. Once burned ...
