Haddix: Thank You!

A quick note here with a Letter to Editor for next week to follow.

To those who voted for me, thank you.

To those who didn't, but wished me well, thank you.

I will work for my campaign promises.

Five of the seven candidates gathered at Mike and C's tonight, with our wives. It was a pleasure getting together.

Tom O'Toole was a gracious opponent and I hope a long term friend.

With that said, it is time to look forward to the runoff.

Seat 2, as I have often said, is critical. The Comprehensive Plan needs to be given the force of law, which does not exist now.

So, please vote again, and vote wisely.

Thank you, again, and I now will stand aside to allow Doug Sturbaum and Mike King to conduct their runoff election.

And remember, no to big boxes. That being said, don't be afraid to at least approach things with an open mind that cross your desk. Our Town has many challenges facing it in the future. Fight the good fight.

I hope Doug Sturbaum is elected so we can put an end to the developer overload in Peachtree City once and for all.

Anyone who thinks Mike King is going to forsake his drinking and golfing buddies Harold Logsdon and Steve Boone is out of their mind.

Let Logsdon lie to the public in the MINORITY and not with Mike King and Steve Boone as a new majority.
