Call Hopewell’s River of Life missionFor the second year in a row, Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will host the “River of Life” mission project, a faith-based community outreach program. The dates of the event are July 11-15, and the church expects around 200 youth and adults to descend on Tyrone. But, right now, the project needs community attention. Jonathan Landon recently served as guest Celebrant at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church in Sharpsburg. Landon, who has served 22 years with the U.S. Army, served in Iraq where he was awarded the Bronze Star. Currently, Landon is stationed in Tacoma, Wash. but will relocate to Ft.
