Several teams from the Peachtree City Church of Christ youth group participated in this year’s Lads to Leaders and Leaderetts competition held April 6-8 at the Atlanta Hyatt Hotel.

This year-round, Bible-based youth leadership program is designed for both boys and girls, and provides an avenue through which young people can be motivated to become responsible Christian leaders in the church, at home, in school, at work, and in community activities.

The Bible Bowl competition featured teams from various congregations that compete in beginning, intermediate, and advanced level quizzes on Bible knowledge. Other competitions are held in areas such as a cappella song leading, speech making (using Biblical based material), and advanced puppetry arts.

More than 2500 people from 68 Southern Church of Christ congregations attended this year’s convention in Atlanta.
