Wellspring’s Ga. Dome event is this weekend
Fayette’s Wellspring Living, a faith-based organization that helps women who have made bad choices make fresh starts, will host “Dangerous Journey ‘07,” a daylong worship event for women Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.Tickets are $25 and $45 and include lunch. Speakers include Ashley Smith, Dr. Robin Smith, Shaunti Feldhahn and Paula White with music from John Tesh, Todd Fields, Candi Pearson, Destiny Praise, and others. Spring Fling planned at North Fayette UMC
North Fayette United Methodist Church will hold its Annual Spring Fling Saturday, April 21, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event includes a church-wide yard sale, along with a book sale, bake sale, and chicken barbecue dinner. North Fayette is at 847 New Hope Road, Fayetteville.

Holly Grove Men’s Night is April 21
Saturday, April 21, at 6 p.m. is Men’s Night at Holly Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church. The evening will feature men’s choruses from Holly Grove and other African-American churches in the south metro area. Both men and women are welcome to attend. Farewell reception planned for Smiths
A reception to honor and to say goodbye to Robby and Sharon Smith will be held Sunday, April 22, at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Liberty Baptist Church, 1077 Highway 314, Riverdale. Robby Smith, music director at Liberty for 15 years, has accepted the position as director of missions in Vidalia. April 28 will be his last day at Liberty. All choir, church members and former choir and church members are invited.

Hopewell sets blood drive for April 26
Hopewell United Methodist Church will host a Community Blood Drive Thursday, April 26, from 3-9 p.m. in the parking lot of the church, at 351 Jenkins Road, in Tyrone. Contact the church, 770-306-7537 for more information or to make an appointment to give blood.

Christ Our Hope men plan breakfast meeting
The men’s group at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church will meet Saturday, April 28, at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast at the church. “Cooks of the Day” will be announced later. The church is at 2165 Ga. Hwy. 138, Riverdale, just across the Fayette County line.

New Jerusalem plans women’s event
Members of New Jerusalem Fellowship Church will celebrate their annual Women’s Day, Sunday, April 29, at 9 a.m. The theme for this special occasion is “Women Empowering A New Millennium Through Ministry,” and the guest speaker will be Minister Sheri McMillan. FCCF schedules community service April 29
The Fayette County Christian Fellowship (FCCF) will hold a celebration Sunday, April 29, at 2:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Peachtree City. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Tommy Harris, former pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Bremen. Fayette County Christian Fellowship was organized to promote Christian unity through fellowship activities involving all citizens of the Fayette County community of Christian faith. This includes a joint worship service on each fifth Sunday. Bethlehem Baptist Church is at 475 Dividend Dr., near the entrance to Falcon Field.

Harp’s opens preschool registration
