Clayton State’s gospel concert is tomorrow night
The Clayton State University Gospel Choir’s Second Annual Spring Concert will be held Thursday, May 3 in Spivey Hall on the University’s main campus. Fayetteville Christian to hold yard sale Fri., Sat.
Fayetteville Christian Church will have its annual yard sale Friday and Saturday, May 4 and 5, from 8 a.m. until noon. The church is on the corner of New Hope and Hickory roads, Fayetteville.

Women’s Bible study to be offered by Holy Cross
A seven-week Saturday morning Bible study for women entitled “Living Your Life As A Beautiful Offering” will be offered by the Church of the Holy Cross in Fayetteville beginning May 5. The study is based on Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and will be taught by Dr. Judy Massey. The class is open to all women in the community. Open Door Baptist to host gospel singing May 5
The 13th anniversary singing of Second Coming and a performance by Karen Peck and New River will highlight the gospel singing event at Open Door Baptist Church in Senoia May 5. Harp’s Crossing groups plan May meetings
The Baptist Men at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church will meet for breakfast Sunday, May 6, ay 8 a.m. in the fellowship hall. The Golden Harps will meet Thursday, May 10 at 6 p.m., also in the fellowship hall. Women on Mission will meet Monday, May 14, at 7 p.m. in the annex. Harp’s Crossing is at 1183 Ga. Christ Our Shepherd plans ministry festival
Christ our Shepherd Lutheran Church will host a Ministry Festival in the church parking lot Sunday, May 6, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The festival will feature a wide variety of ministries, food, music and other entertainment. The festival is for the entire family and displays the various ministries and activities available at Christ Our Shepherd. Displays from various community and wider church groups will be available. Summer Grief Share group starts May 10 in PTC
Peachtree City United Methodist Church will offer a summer Grief Share support group beginning Thursday, May 10, from 6:30-8 p.m. The group, which uses a video,workbook, and open discussion format, will meet at the church, 225 Robinson Road, room 308, every Thursday night for 14 weeks. The fee is $15 and includes the workbook. PTCUMC opens it doors to anyone in the community grieving the loss of a friend or loved one who needs to connect with others going through the same journey. Benefit concert planned at The Rock Baptist
Ths Rock Baptist Church in north Fayette County will host a benefit concert Friday, May, 11, at 7 p.m., with proceeds going to a local uninsured resident who lost her house in a fire.
