Hopewell plans blood drive tomorrow
Hopewell United Methodist Church will host a Community Blood Drive Thursday, April 26, from 3-9 p.m. in the parking lot of the church, at 351 Jenkins Road, in Tyrone. Contact the church, 770-306-7537 for more information or to make an appointment to give blood.

PTC Christian ‘s yard sale is this weekend
Members of Peachtree City Christian Church will have a yard sale Friday and Saturday, April 27 and 28, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., to benefit the church’s adult mission trip to Mexico. The church is at 500 Kedron Dr. (intersection of Ga. Hwy. 74) in Peachtree City.

Flat Rock AME plans gospel event Saturday
Flat Rock A.M.E. Church in Fayettville, in conjunction with Educational Talent Search of Clark Atlanta University, will host a gospel concert Saturday, April 28, from 7-9 p.m. at the Villages Amphitheater in Fayetteville, featuring nationally known gospel singer, Helen Baylor. Admission is $20 per person and two canned items. A free matinee performance from 2-4 p.m. Saturday will be held for senior citizens only, followed by the paid performance at 7 p.m. that evening. ‘Bells and Whistles’ concert set for Sunday
The handbell choirs of Peachtree City United Methodist Church will present their spring “Bells and Whistles” concert Sunday, April 29, at 3 p.m. in the sanctuary at the Robinson Road campus. Ringers from third grade through adult in six different choirs will perform.

Christ Our Hope men plan breakfast meeting
The men’s group at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church will meet Saturday, April 28, at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast at the church. “Cooks of the Day” will be announced later. The church is at 2165 Ga. Hwy. 138, Riverdale, just across the Fayette County line.

FFBC to offer GriefShare on Tuesdays
Fayetteville First Baptist Church will offer GriefShare, a 13-week Bible-based program for those who have lost a loved one, on Tuesday nights from 6:30 - 8 p.m. A new session will begin next Tuesday, May 1. Each class begins with a video and is followed by discussion. Class leaders are Paul and Mary Ellen Ashworth, Jenny Muller and Gena Turner and sessions are held in room A-101 in the First Baptist Church Worship Center building at 205 E. Women’s Bible study to be offered by Holy Cross
A seven-week Saturday morning Bible study for women entitled “Living Your Life As A Beautiful Offering” will be offered by the Church of the Holy Cross in Fayetteville beginning May 5. The study is based on Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and will be taught by Dr. Judy Massey. The class is open to all women in the community. Christ Our Shepherd plans ministry festival
Christ our Shepherd Lutheran Church will host a Ministry Festival Sunday, May 6, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The festival will feature a wide variety of ministries, food, music and other entertainment and is for the entire family.
