Now in its third year, the event is named for five year-old Riley Peek who was diagnosed three years ago with Mitochondrial disease. Senoia in line for grant

The city of Senoia could soon be the recipient of a $500,000 Employee Incentive Program grant.

Chattahoochee Flint Regional Development Center representative Lynn Miller told the City Council Monday night the money would be used to rework the plant expansion of Winpak Inc on Andrews Drive. The grant is used to benefit low and moderate income people, and Miller said the expansion and more than 60 new jobs would aid that community.
