Eric Litwin to perform at PTC library

Musician Eric Litwin, winner of the 2004 Parents Choice Recommended Award, will be entertaining children with his songs and stories during Storytime at Peachtree City Library on Tuesday, April 17 at 10 a.m. Litwin will be presenting a program called “I Hear America Singing” in celebration of National Library Week.

Litwin, who is lovingly referred to as “Mr. Eric” by his young fans, received his MA in education from George Washington University and an MPA in Administration from SUNY at Albany. He is a former classroom teacher in regular education and special education.

Litwin’s latest CD is entitled “The Big Silly” and features fourteen different styles of Americana music including, “I Want Chocolate Pie” (zydeco), “Poor Pitiful Me” (blues), and “We Like Lunch” (opera). He gives over 200 performances a year at such places as the Azalea Festival, Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, and at hundreds of schools and libraries across Georgia.

The program is for ages 3 & up and is free to the public.
