of course they just shot the hostage, but it's ok b/c they shot the suspect too, right?. with that much lead going down range, concrete and steel walls to rickachet off of, and the technique displayed by the SWAT members i guarantee in a real world situation the hostage was shot. look at the officer shooting with one hand and how they are all unsteady and moving their feet around making their shots unquestionably inaccurate. also, before the suspect ducs behind the hostage to use him as a shield they had a completely open shot. a terrorism and a firearms expert would have a field day with this video and the exersize as a whole. this is just a mediocre attempt through a completely unrealistic scenario for the SO to display to the public they could handle such an event. a bit patehtic i must say.
