Developer Tom Reese doesn’t just have big ideas for Coweta County.

On Monday night, Reese unveiled his plans for a subdivision that would be in the city limits of Senoia, if the county agrees to letting Senoia annex the property.

The location is on Ga. Highway 16, just west of Senoia and adjacent to Cumberland Subdivision. Reese said the 268-acre site would feature 250 homes, but 156 acres of the property would remain as open space.

“We’ll have 241 lots that are contiguous to open space,” he said.

Amenities at the development would include tennis facilities, a swimming pool and clubhouse and homes would start in the $300,000 range. The development would also feature homes that would reflect the historical background of the city.

“This is a lot better plan than we saw the first time,” said Councilman Larry Owens.

The City Council voted unanimously to send the proposal to the county for an annexation request.
