Seeing how government works

Sen. Mitch Seabaugh hosted a group of students from the 28th Senate District at the Capitol in February and March. The students served as pages for the Senate on their assigned day. They were granted access to the Senate Chamber for the day and were responsible for delivering messages to the Senators on the floor. The pages were also called on to run special errands. They received a certificate, $10 honorarium and enjoyed a “working lunch” with Sen. Seabaugh. From left, are Lydia DeMoss, Derrick Hunter, Sen. Seabaugh, Andrew Lambert, Caleb Peacock and Austin Gordon. Photo/Special.
