Claude Edward Wommack

Claude Edward Wommack, 67, Newnan, formerly of Lakeland, Fla., died March 3, 2007. He was born Nov. 4, 1939 in Halifax County, N. C. He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Wells Wommack, his father, Joseph Benjamin Wommack Sr., and brother, Robert Thorp Wommack. He was a veteran of Vietnam having served in the United States Air Force. Memorial services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley chapel with the Rev. Gordon Price officiating. Survivors include a son, Darrell and Teresa Fisher, Lakeland, Fla.; a daughter, Claudia and Adrian Lane, Newnan; mother, Mary Ellen Wommack, Scotland Neck, N. C.; grandchildren, Jeana Ann Resado, Matthew Thomas Lane, and Benjamin Lane, all of Newnan, Michael Fisher, Winter Haven, Fla., Mandy Raines and Monica Richey, both of Lakeland, Fla.; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Benjamin and Betty Ann Wommack, Lakeland, Fla.; and a sister, Myrtle Wommack and Albert Thomas, Battleboro, N. Jesse Clarence Kennemore Sr.

Jesse Clarence Kennemore Sr., 96, Union City, formerly a resident of College Park for over 50 years, died March 4, 2007. He was born Feb. 7, 1910 in Acworth, Ga. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Ruth Kennemore. She died Feb. 17, 2002. Services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley chapel with Minister Allan Hicks officiating. Interment was at College Park Cemetery. Survivors include sons, Jesse C. and Patricia Kennemore Jr., and Ruben and Retta Kennemore; a daughter, Wanda and Patrick Hicks; grandchildren, Ernie and Sherry Kennemore, Susie Entrekin, Trina and Tim Croley, Allan and Suzan Hicks, and Cindy and Warren Sellers; 10 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Interment was at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Jonesboro. Survivors include her mother, Ruth N. Bray; brothers, Richard Bray, Emory Bray, Larry Bray and Kenneth Bray; 11 nephews and nieces; and nine great nephews and nieces.
