Geraldine Lawson, 97, Peachtree City, died March 8, 2007. She was born Aug. 8, 1909 in Somerville, Mass. She was formerly of Stuart, Fla., and Naples, Maine, moving to Peachtree City in 1998. She was preceded in death by her husband, S. George Lawson. She enjoyed playing bridge and to take long drives. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 15, at the Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Survivors include children, Linda and Peter Cunningham, Peachtree City, G. Durkee and Denise Lawson, Uxbridge, Maine, Wendy Lawson, mother of Brad and Tara, and Stephen Lawson, Corvallis, Ore.; grandchildren, Lisa and James Sheldon, Peachtree City, Jack and Kimberly Cunningham, Bangkok, Thailand, Charles and Tara Gill, Avon, Conn., Brad and Jennifer Lawson, Medfield, Maine, Shannon and Kayla, children of Denise Lawson; and great-grandchildren, Delaney Rose, Remy, Wesley, Caleb, Harrison, Tucker, Macy, Gracyn and Aidan. Metro Crematory, Peachtree City, was in charge.
