Carolyn Dickinson, 78, McDonough, formerly of Fayette County, died March 15, 2007. She was born July 17, 1928 in Kingsport, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Dickinson, and a son, Tim Brotherton. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, College Park. Survivors include sons, Billy and Debby Brotherton, Morrow, and Michael Brotherton, McDonough; daughters, Jackie and Peter Scott, Rockaway, N.J., and Michelle and Tony Turpen, Jonesboro; stepsons, Clark Dickson, and Rick Dickinson; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, and her cocker spaniel, Lilly. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
