Evelyn Spaller, 97, Fayetteville, and a resident of Brooks since 1951, died March 17, 2007. She was born March 27, 1909 in Guthrie, Okla. At the age of four, her family moved by wagon from Oklahoma to Montana. She was a member of the Brooks United Methodist Church. Services were at the Brooks United Methodist Church with the Rev. Derek Porter and the Rev. Leslie Langford officiating. Interment was at the Brooks Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include her son, Ken Spaller, Brooks; grandsons, Don and Laura Spaller, Brooks, and John Spaller, Macon; great-grandchildren; Stacy Spaller and Shawn Newman; and great-great-grandchildren, Savannah Newman, Shawn Newman Jr., and Racheal Newman. Memorial donations may be made to the Brooks United Methodist Church Building Fund. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
