silverfox20: Peachtree City Veterans Brick DeadlinePeachtree City VFW Post 9949 announces that March 31 is the cutoff date for Veterans Brick orders for bricks to be in place for the 2008 Memorial Day Ceremony. Orders received after March 31 will be accumulated and processed in April 2009 so that they will be installed just before the 2009 Memorial Day Ceremony. sageadvice: Calling it earlyWell, it is over. With Giuliana and Edwards stopping their run where it is, it is obviously going to be a run between Clinton and McCain for President of the USA. And as FOX likes to say, "Commander-in-Chief." TonyF: 4 8 15 16 23 42Peachtreeparent: Beating a child is sadistic! How can any intelligent person think it is acceptable to beat a child with a belt? It is lazy, sadistic, and totally counterproductive. BPR: MR. AND MRS. MUDDLE- THIS IS JUST FOR YOUI have been praying all day- I asked God to give me a song to speak to you- Years ago, this person singing this song huge Christian Artist died- well he wasn't wearing his seat belt, was in a jeep with the hood off, a truck hit them, and then a huge truck ran over him. thebeaver: McCain an American Traitorsageadvice: High Schol BathroomsWe used to smoke there! I'm sitting in a hospital room, not quite ready for sleep. Here's the result. Rough waters ahead.] kjam: FCBOE Verification of ResidenceI have been reading recent postings on "other Counties" attending FC Schools. This has been an issue for several years. BPR: Bill Nodding- Too many women?sageadvice: Communication to Jeff---cut off???Why has that happened today? smoothassilk: John Minaberry, Lennie Dunn "where is the Justice?"Last March (2007) Fayette County became aware of a car accident that took the lives of John Minaberry and friend sageadvice: Our Brooklyn and Cuban stateIs having its vote today on who they want for President but only for the republicans. zoes: Super TuesdaySince most of us are anonymous on here, it would be very interesting to see who is voting for whom in the primary. It will still be a secret to the real world! Cyclist: Here is another illegal alien story.wulfman: Hillary Vs ObamaMichael Boylan: 38 Special coming to PTCI visited the Pollstar web site today and found out one of the acts coming to PTC this summer - 38 Special - Aug. 22 and I assume Aug. 23. Marilyn: PRESERVE OUR QUIET, SAFE NEIGHBORHOODYou may not know that the West side of the Fayette By-Pass is proposed to cross Hwy 54 (at Huiet Rd., next to the BP station), go through the Cat Care Veterinary Clinic, come behind the hospital, cross the south end of the Rivers farm and enter Sandy Creek Road less than a mile from Rt. 54. The purpose is to divert traffic from the southern part of the county away from Hwy 74 and GA Hwy 85. This will, no doubt, change the quality of living along Sandy Creek Rd. in terms of noise and safety. We may, collectively, be able to get the Board of Commissioners to change this proposed route. joedurden@minds...: West Fayetteville bypass - unfairI am a property and home owner in Fayette County. The county is proposing to take some of our property for the West Fayetteville bypass. This bypass will only save about a half a mile, will cost millions of dollars and disrupt the lives of a number of taxpayers and businesses making the property they have their homes on just about worthless. Meetings with Fayette County officials have been useless. Fayette County employees have resorted to lying to citizens and taxpayers of Fayette County when asked to seek alternatives before any staking of property is begun. These strong arm tactics can not continue. If anybody is thinking to moving to Fayette County to live or starting a business here, think twice. Fayette County officials are resorting to socialistic tactics to make a case for a project that will spend a huge amount of resources for a small benefit. sageadvice: MosulYesterday we turned over the responsibility for clearing out Mosul, Iraq (again) to the Iraqis. Mike King: JUST ANOTHER FORM OF TAXATIONToday at lunch I read an article about cities proposing to increase tolls on their roads and bridges in USA Today. For some reason this struck me odd that city/state officials when faced with budjet shortfalls look primarily to finding new ways to tax. sageadvice: We are saved!Same medical treatment for everybody--even congressmen and Presidents. Saudi Arabia has agreed to finance a health system for us just as China is financing the war on terror. eodnnaenaj1: Muddle,eodnnaenaj1: Did CyTyroneTerror: BEWARE...Barney Fife (aka the Tyrone Police) Trying to get their Quota....Not that anyone will be surprised but Tyrone's Finest are out in force till the end of the month on HWY 74. If you are traveling NORTH or SOUTH on 74 between now and Jan 31st BEWARE!!! They are laying in wait for you. G35 Dude: Mulligan'sThere’s not a lot to do in Fayette County for singles so my friends and I were excited to hear that a new restaurant was going to open in the old Macaroni Grill building that planned to have live bands and karaoke. The first night that they had a band a group of us went. There were about 18 of us. And the place was packed. The band was great, good setup but they were ill prepared for the crowd. They ran out of Miller lite draft at 8pm and a salad took 2 hours to get. There were some glitches with equipment. Still we had a blast. Oh well we said. It was their first big night. sageadvice: Jail Time - not 100 million dollar buyout!Until we do the above to some of these "executives" forced out of these corporations for conning average people, we aren't ever going to stop them. gelato: Foreston Place at Holly Grove RoadDoes anyone know what was going on at the Foreston Place subdivision on Holly Grove Road yesterday?
