38 Special coming to PTC

I visited the Pollstar web site today and found out one of the acts coming to PTC this summer - 38 Special - Aug. 22 and I assume Aug. 23.

Just thought you'd like to know.

I have been using Poll Star and other management and talent sites for years to find out who was coming to the Fred early. They have always tried to make it a big suprise. I know that there have been contractual obligations in the past not to announce (some for the big suprise factor, and some for the competing venue factor).

Now you have let the cat out of the bag and will make it even more difficult, IF THEY CARE.

I had season tickets since the second year, and finally gave them up last year. To many multiple repeats (Like .38 Special). I really think they should give up the notion of the series and just bring in 7-8 concerts a year and sell out two shows of each on an individual basis.

In an attempt to save a dying amphitheater, the management is pulling out all the stops - and money - this year.

Better shows at amphitheater

Maybe the Tennis Pros aren't sucking it all away at the Tennis Center as they did before?

Possibly the Tennis People are paying for what they have for a change!

Never have sen how much Tennis takes in as opposed to amphitheater---is that a secret?
