One possible outcome of "Socialized Medicine"

Don't treat the old and unhealthy, say doctors

"Smokers, heavy drinkers, the obese and the elderly should be barred from receiving some operations, according to doctors, with most saying the health service cannot afford to provide free care to everyone."

One of the things I found interesting is that no mention was made for relieving these "undesirable" people of their tax burdens for paying into a system that will deny them treatment.

If a patient is denied treatment, for any reason(s), shouldn't they be entitled for a refund of all taxes they've paid into the system?

Wouldn't that be covered, in this country, as taxation without representation"?

What doctors are these? Are you sure you aren't talking about Insurance executives?

I favor the old fashioned kind of medicine:
The rich have their own private doctors---if some poor or sick dope wants treatment, only way he can get it is for the rich doctor to be ordered by his owner to do it!
