I saw a stray dog in the road that that had lost the will to live. It was wobbling and traffic had stopped. I couldn't stop but asked someone with a cell phone to call the Humaine society. There were 4 dogs on the side of the road, well fed and with collars, it looked like they were playing good Samarian and trying to get it out of the road and I didn't want to see the owners get tickets from the pound. I followed up on the dog later and found that the Fulton pound was indeed called and picked up a couple of the boxers but couldn't find the dying stray. Someone said a car stopped and took the dog to the vet. It had horrible wounds on it.

I see from reading the paper that the quality of education is still falling. In the article on the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, the editors seemed to have made an "F" in spelling. May be they should include that "F" in the word "ShiFt in stead of what they wrote. I know the four letter alternative word that you used is in movies, books, and trashy magazines, but one would think that a member of the press, the "Fourth Estate", would have a capable editor checking the paper before it was published. A company that makes its money with the written word should at any rate.

I know that some of you may think that this is VERY out of character, but I just listened to Irma Thomas's "Hold to God's Unchanging Hand" and was blown away.

The reason that Republicans are voting for Hillary is they don't want Obama and hope that Hillary wins. When it comes down to it they will vote Republican.

Elected representatives can’t go to the bathroom without asking permission of an attorney. Officials are not trained in how to govern. This is a failure of the education system. Few with any business sense even run for office, most considering politics to be beneath their dignity. Governments always spend and tax too much, get into financial trouble, then have to call in private business to try and straighten out the mess. Clayton County has destroyed their educational system and has brought in outside help. Atlanta’s Tax Office has also brought in private help. Lithonia’s Council has locked their Mayor out of the Council Chambers and she has set up a dual government in a Coffee Shop. Tyrone has called in outside Auditors to investigate missing funds and is bound and determined to defend an awful zoning ordinance that the entire business community hates. The Federal Government can’t stay out of wars and has destroyed our monetary system. State Government representatives vote on laws that they don’t read. And Local Governments like Tyrone are a complete joke; a circus of self interest clowns fumbling around in their egotistical darkness. Our system of government cannot last; it is destined to collapse into chaos and anarchy. Like a stock market crash, our governments have hit the bottom. Best we all start thinking about how to dissolve it and start over.
