Westmoreland Calls for an Inquiry

If you haven't heard, Lynn Westmoreland has called for the pressure of the Congress of the United States to be brought to bear on college football. Seriously?

Look, I am as big of a football fan as anyone else and love to talk about it. But doesn't anyone else see a problem with this? Aren't there more pressing issues in Washington than the BCS? Don't we have a debt that would make Bill Gates swoon, a Medicare and Social Security system on the ropes, troops overseas that need money and leadership and a myriad of other problems? I think that we do. This (out of all possibilities) is what Lynn is doing in Congress. Well, let me get out my checkbook and start donating right away!

Oh, and now he is thinking about running for Governor. Great.

It's not going to be long before we're literally going to have to start tarring and feathering these clowns. Starting from the bottom to the top! Our country appears to have been enpowered by the very people our fore fatherers defeated and drove out of this country over 200 years ago.
