RSMS Teacher

My son walked in through the door w/a note and the first words out of his mouth were, "Mr. Bowen's a molestor."
I met him. He's my son's teacher, but I didn't ever have any bad vibes from him. It's unfortunate. My son has an A in that class, and I don't want this to damage his grade. I hope we don't hear any stories come up w/students at RSMS, although that tends to happen.

More at stake than an "A"

I find it somewhat shallow that when an event takes place which will potentially destroy two families and possibly more if more instances of molestation are discovered that your first concern was whether or not your son would maintain his "A." I would be more concerned with the well being of my son instead of his grade.

In no way am I taking the side of Mr. Bowen, as all appearances indicate that he is guilty, your posting of "Mr. Bowen is a molestor" is a cheap shot taken when no facts have been revealed. If he is in fact guilty of this heinous act, he certainly deserves whatever punishment is handed out.

The parents in PTC are so eager to kick anyone down as long as it appears to elevate themselves. Nothing has been proven, no facts are released yet, nothing. I can't even believe that the person made mention of being worry about their child's A. Please step back and take a long look in the mirror or better yet, go ask someone else that isn't from PTC if what you wrote isn't shallow and hurtful and very mean spirited.
God help us all.

Out of curiosity, why do you assume PTC? Brooks and Fayetteville and County residents send kids to Rising Starr.

It is my understanding that kids from Brooks go to Whitewater Middle School, not Rising Starr.

If you live in Brooks, Peachtree City, Fayetteville, or Tyrone you are a FAYETTE COUNTY resident.

That what I get for assuming

I incorrectly assumed people would know I meant unincorporated Fayette County. I didn't really think someone would think otherwise.

All that said, I do see houses advertised for sale that are really in unincorporated Fayette claiming to be in PTC. I can't say that I blame them. Smiling
