Certified Residential
Specialist (CRS) is a designation recognized as the "Ph.D."
of residential real estate. CRS agents are members of the Council of
Residential Specialists, an affiliate of the National Association of
Realtors that provides advanced real estate-related education to its
members. Only about 5 percent of NAR members are Certified Residential
Specialists, but nationwide they are involved in about 25 percent of
residential real estate transactions.

announces contest winners
In January of 2001,
GT Architecture, also known as GT Communities, launched a 12-month competition
designed to attract highly motivated real estate professionals. The
criteria for winning were simple: the agent with the most co-op GT home
sales would receive the Grand Prize, valued at $6,000. Second and third
place prizes would also be awarded. GT Communities named the sales campaign
"Jewels of the Nile."

Tri-City agents move to Prudential Georgia
In January of this
year, Prudential Atlanta/Georgia Realty purchased the residential division
of Tri-City Realty Services. Long-time Fayette County real estate professional
