SummerGrove is Atlanta's third best-selling community

According to Smart Numbers, a residential real estate information, analysis and forecasting company, SummerGrove at Newnan was Atlanta's third best selling master-planned community in 2001.

With approximately 314 home sales in 2001, and nearly 700 since the community's inception in 1998, SummerGrove inches its way to becoming Atlanta's hottest address.

Dan Camp, vice president and general manager at Pathway Communities, believes the reason behind SummerGrove's success is due to its outstanding amenity package, variety of home styles and price ranges and its unique location in historic Newnan.

SummerGrove's top selling features include over five miles of walking trails and pedestrian paths, a 100-acre lake, eight lighted tennis courts, a competition-size swimming pool and an 18-hole public golf course. A new SummerGrove waterpark featuring a lazy river ride, water sprays and a large water mushroom is planned to open in the summer of 2002.

In addition, the community offers a unique technology program, including structured wiring for every home, the potential for ultra-fast Internet access and Atlanta's first interactive community Intranet.

SummerGrove's uniqueness spans more than amenities and technology. SummerGrove has 12 decorated models. "In order to fully tell the SummerGrove story, we believe it is necessary to give home buyers tangible evidence of the range of choice in each neighborhood, not just a copy of an elevation and a floor plan," says Camp. "At SummerGrove, we've made a conscious decision to make home shopping a pleasurable experience."

Homes at SummerGrove are priced from the $130s to over $600,000.

To visit SummerGrove from Atlanta, take I-85 South to Exit 47 (Newnan). Go left on Hwy. 34 one mile, and turn right on Shenandoah Blvd. SummerGrove is located at the intersection of Lower Fayetteville Road and Shenandoah Blvd. The Information Center is open daily from 11 a.m.-5 p.m and Sunday 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
