Wednesday, March 13, 2002 Five Tri-City agents move to Prudential Georgia In January of this year, Prudential Atlanta/Georgia Realty purchased the residential division of Tri-City Realty Services. Long-time Fayette County real estate professional Kathy Murphy was then named Managing Broker of Prudential Georgia Realty's Peachtree City office at 1971 Highway 54 West. Five Tri-City real estate professionals have also successfully made the transition to Prudential Georgia Realty. They include John Solomon, Stephen Walker, Angie Disharoon, Cara O'Rourke, and Kim Geiss. All five Realtors are members of the Fayette Board of Realtors, the Georgia Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Kathy Murphy summed up the group's recent move. "The agents are excited to be a part of a company with such a solid national reputation. The fact that all five Tri-City agents made the transition speaks volumes for the strength of Prudential in this area. A Georgia native, John Solomon holds his Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) designation and has four years real estate experience. Stephen P. Walker is an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) and active as a board member of the Women's Council of Realtors (WCR). Angie Disharoon has her GRI and ABR designations, is an ambassador for the WCR, and is a Georgia native who attended Clayton State College. Cara O'Rourke is an eCertified, licensed Realtor and a registered architect. Her professional involvement includes the Sales & Marketing Council of the Home Builder's Association, the American Business Women's Association, and the WCR. Kim Geiss holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Carolina University, completed an entrepreneurship program at Clayton State University, is a registered real estate appraiser, and an e-Certified, licensed Realtor. The Peachtree City office now has 37 real estate professionals on its expanding sales team.
