Wednesday, March 13, 2002 GT announces contest winners In January of 2001, GT Architecture, also known as GT Communities, launched a 12-month competition designed to attract highly motivated real estate professionals. The criteria for winning were simple: the agent with the most co-op GT home sales would receive the Grand Prize, valued at $6,000. Second and third place prizes would also be awarded. GT Communities named the sales campaign "Jewels of the Nile." The great unveiling, where the winners were revealed, was in January of this year at Eagle's Landing Country Club amid exotic Egyptian decor, including palm trees and a sphinx. GT Communities wishes to congratulate Larry Mosley, winner of the first annual Jewels of the Nile competition. He and a guest will enjoy a trip to nearly any destination in the world, including round-trip airfare, accommodations, and $1,000 spending money. Special congratulations to second-place winner Randy Crowe, and third-place winner Thanh Ba Bui, as well as the three Disney excursion winners. GT gave away nearly $13,000 in prizes. GT Architecture is ranked 12th among the top 25 home builders in Atlanta, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, and Georgia Power's largest Good Cents builder in the state during 2001. GT has more than 13 communities south of the airport.
