Playoff preview for five local girls soccer teamsWednesday, Apr. 23 McIntosh Lady Chiefs (12-3-1) vs. Northside, Warner Robins Lady Eagles (9-5-1), 6 p.m. McIntosh’s varsity girls team, the region champions from region 2-AAAA, has not lost in over a month. Since falling to Starr’s Mill 1-0 on March 10, the Lady Chiefs have won nine straight games and allowed only two goals in that span. In eight games against ranked opponents this season, McIntosh, ranked third in AAAA and 13th in all of Georgia, has a record of 4-3-1. They have posted eight shutouts this season and have outscored their opponents 69-14.
