The Football Writers Association of America has released its 2008 Outland Trophy Watch List, and Georgia Tech senior offensive tackle and Sandy Creek graduate Andrew Gardner is on the list.

The Outland Trophy has been awarded to the best interior lineman in college football since 1946.
Gardner, a first-team All-ACC selection in 2007, is considered one of the top offensive tackles in college football.

Owning a current streak of 39 consecutive games started, Gardner was key in Georgia Tech leading the ACC in rushing in 2007 and in Tashard Choice leading the ACC in individual rushing in 2006 and 2007.
