The center would be located in donated space in Shamrock Industrial Park. Crash knocks out lights, 74 trafficThe aftermath of a wreck on Ga. Highway 74 in Tyrone left the highway blocked for about five hours Monday afternoon. A car crashed into support poles for traffic lights at the intersection of Hwy. 74 and Dogwood Trail, sending the lights’ poles crashing down across the highway, said Tyrone Police Chief Johnny Hay. This is the second time this has happened in two months at Dogwood and Hwy. 74. Suspect arrested in Crook murder caseA Griffin man has been charged with murder in the Sept. 30 slaying of Senoia business owner Ken Crook, found dead of a gunshot wound in his home.
