It could have been much worse. A Friday afternoon fire at Ga. Highway 54 West and Brandywine Corners started accidentally as workers were applying roofing material in the rear of the building. Fayetteville Fire Department spokesman Bill Rieck said no injuries were sustained in the blaze and that fire damage was confined to the rear portion of the structure, still under construction.
