Has anyone ever thought about running as a write in candidate against her? At the rate she's pissing people off, you just might win.

As frustrated as you may be that you weren't informed about the SPLOST until recently, you would have to be a fool to wish that it would not pass.

Please God have mercy on this young man. He did not have a gun. A guy with a severe addiction problem that acted in a desperate way while under the influence.

Why can't we pick the next President of the USA in a similar fashion to the Mother country of our government, England?

Lots of accidents on 92 and Hilo..bad intersection..isn't it nice we are bussing all those kids through that intersection to get to Inman Elementary? The high speeds are a definite...that was pointed out to the very impressive school board here in Fayette COunty...I guess it's okay for some East Fayette kids to travel that route.

Racial infighting among Democrats, which marred the presidential primaries, has flared up again at the party’s convention in Denver, where a black Hillary Clinton delegate is accusing a black Barack Obama delegate of calling her an “Uncle Tom.”

Who pulled the plug?? With all this rain you think the dock of the pond would be at least touching the water....why is this not filling up??

Is there no issue on which John McCain won't play the POW card?

Caught unaware of how many homes he and his gazillionaire wife own, McCain now is using his war heroism of 40-plus years ago as a deflector shield.

If you have been following this case, as most of the nation has the past few month's, I'm sure you understand where I am coming from.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-S.F., has done something worse than commit a crime against the First Amendment. The speaker's censorship of nonobtrusive posters featuring men and women who gave that last full measure of devotion in service to their country is a blunder that could alienate 23 million veterans and their families from the Democratic Party. If she is endowed with a crumb of constitutional or political sense, she will reverse course.

I just finished a conversation with my firefighter friend and they were taken back by the amonut of blogs that were posted about the fire dept!! Maybe the citizen should do a story about the " drama factory " as he called it.
