Tom recently came through Atlanta(so very sorry i missed him)
But for throwing your head back, and singing the blues, few do wonders of reprieve as does Tom. Try you tube, typing"Anywhere i lay my head"., or try "Ruby's arms". the vocal style might not suit you, but what a story-teller. Just a quick thought to the musical world out there...much to be heard, much to be learned.

There are few artists quite like Tom Waits. You find very few musicians/song writers who actually take their art to the level Waits does. I'm currently working my way through his discography now, I'm currently on The Heart of Saturday night (I'm not going in order). Mr. Waits is one of a kind and the price for a ticket to go to his show and how quickly they all sell out is a testament to that.

Um, yes, about the vocal style....

I always thought Tom's voice sounded like that of a decomposing cadaver who hasn't yet been informed of his demise. (Maybe a character from Beetlejuice?)

But then, have you heard Dylan lately?

He's sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend
saw Muddle pass out at 57 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
